Easter Egg Marshmallow Pops

easter egg marshmallow pops text

As I was doing my least favorite thing in the whole wide world the other day (grocery shopping), I noticed these extra large marshmallows that were shaped like eggs.  How cute!

Jumbo Eggmallows

They came in different colors and I grabbed a bag because I knew I could make a quick, easy treat with them.  After seeing those that day, I have since seen some bunnies too but I think the eggs look better.  I also grabbed some almond bark and some colored sugar and sprinkles.

Sprinkles

Super easy to make!  Just melt the almond bark in the microwave and give it a stir.  Then put the marshmallow eggs on lollipop sticks and dip into the melted chocolate.  Sprinkle on the…well, sprinkles, and you’re done!  Your kids could make these! (With some supervision, of course!)

I tied a little matching ribbon on…

I also put a couple in little egg cups.

The kids loved them!  They said they were better than peeps.  You can’t believe them though because I don’t think anything beats peeps.

On the back of the package were some other really cute Easter treat ideas I might try too.  We made a big bunch of these and still had plenty left over so this would be a great treat for classroom parties!
