Just wanted to share with you a little project I was working on earlier this week. I always loved making fairies in a jar and I felt compelled to create a little 3D scene of fairies that had not been captured but were free in their own natural environment: Fairy Land.
95% of this project was made with paper. Rolled paper flowers, paper mache walls, decoupaged toilet paper rolls and paper plates...
Most of the fairies as well as the text for the Fairy Land sign I found at the Graphics Fairy.
I did add wings and embellish the fairies with lots of shimmering glitter to make them seem more sparkly and magical.
I have never made anything like this but I had a lot of fun doing it and look forward to making more.
I'll be sharing this at some of the best link parties if you'd like to come too!
I love this! Great job for the first time. I wonder if you can put lights in the back? That might be cool, you could use a little twinkle strand and insert a few through the back wall maybe...I would love to see that if you try it. I'll follow you on Pinterest.
