Bleach Pen Shamrock Shirt

IMG_1311

I’m back at it with the bleach pen!

IMG_0754

This time making a shirt for my daughter to wear for St. Patrick’s Day.  I printed out an image of a shamrock, cut it out,  and pinned it to an old green shirt.  I placed an old magazine inside the shirt to prevent the bleach from bleeding through to the back.  Then, I simply traced the shamrock with the bleach pen and waited for about 30 minutes.  Then you just run it through the washer/dryer & it’s ready to wear!  For a full tutorial, see this post

I love the way this technique turns out and there are just SO. MANY. POSSIBILITIES.  You could trace any design or freehand your own.  Now all she needs is something cute for her hair to go with it…stay tuned!

  1. I heart my bleach pens (one at home and work!) but I've never thought of getting crafty with them. Super creative! :)
