Denim Rosette Headband
I love all of the pretty fabric rosettes I see everyone making all over blogland. I have even made a few myself for my daughters to wear in their hair. I haven’t blogged about any of them because I didn’t think they were anything remarkable. But…
My daughter had worn out the knees of a pair of her jeans and I cut them off. I didn’t want to toss out the scrap legs so I made a couple of rosettes. I haven’t really seen any rosettes made from denim although, I’m sure someone has done it. I mean, denim is probably the most common fabric available today. Everybody wears jeans!
After I rolled the flowers out (I will spare you a tutorial on that- there are a million out there already), I covered a plain headband with denim fabric. I just hot glued it on and cut off any excess. I glued on my rosettes and added some jewels to the centers of the flowers. So easy!
I like how the lighter colored denim looks and the way it frays. It’s fancy and casual at the same time. It’ll be great worn with jeans. And it’s so cute on my little girl…
