My Kitchen Canisters and Giveaway Winner

It’s time to announce the winner of the 3 months of advertising giveaway!!!  I am so excited!

But, first, I want to show you my very first experience with vinyl!  I know, I know:  how can I be a blogger and not use vinyl?  Well, I’m not sure what my excuse is, but I’ve got to say, I love this stuff!  I ordered some numbers (1, 2, 3) from Wonderfully Wordy because they were having such an amazing deal through Groopdealz.  *By the way, they are not endorsing me in any way, I just wanted to share!

So, anyway, I have these canisters I got several years ago from Walmart (on clearance).  I love them because they remind me of Winnie The Pooh’s honey pots!  Just looking at them almost gives me a rumbly in my tumbly!

When my vinyl arrived, it was such a snap to apply- you just remove the backing, press it on and rub it down good and then peel away the paper.  I love my little honey pot canisters even more now!  I think the numbers just make them stand out.

So, long story short - I love vinyl!  Not that I’m going to cover everything with it, but it’s just so fun! Now, I am really wanting a Silhouette!  If you have been living under a rock (like, apparently me), and haven’t tried vinyl , you really should - I’m sure you have somewhere you could stick it!  It’s super easy and fun!  I was very pleased with Wonderfully Wordy’s great prices and fast shipping!  I’m sure I will be back for more…

Now, back to the Giveaway!!  I used Mrs. Glosser’s Math Goodies random number generator (instead of Random.org) because I could show the results for free.  Yes, I’m cheap (and proud to be)!  So, without further ado, the winner is…………………………….

The canisters turned out looking great. Good think you mentioned Winnie The Pooh, otherwise I would have been thinking all day of what they remind me of!!LOL

  3. Your canisters turned out so cute! I got a chuckle out of your Pooh honey pot comment...that's so cute! And yes, they totally remind me of that too. I ♥ 'em! And you know what, I've never used vinyl!! I'll have to go check out that site where you bought the #'s at. Seems easy to use and not complicated, which I love!

    Have a great weekend!
PS...congrats to the lucky winner :)

  5. I enjoy your blog - lots of great ideas!

I find it refreshing that you don't use vinyl. That stuff is everywhere! It definitely has its place, but there's a lot of crafts I've seen that could just as easily have been hand-painted or lettered.
