Ok, if you live in the South, then you have probably had this but for those of you who haven't, this is sooooo good! & for those of you who refer to an outdoor grill as a barbecue, I am talking about the meat, barbecue, as in pork. You start with a boston butt. Roast it in the oven for about 4-5 hours. You can baste it, put a rub on it, or put whatever seasonings you like on it-doesn't matter cause it's gonna be good. After it's done, you take it out and the meat should be practically falling apart. This is what is known as pulled pork. You can then break it all apart and chop it up. Now, sometimes I make a homemade barbecue sauce but this particular time, I wanted to just get done, so I put equal parts Kraft Barbecue Sauce & Mrs. Griffins Barbecue Sauce over it and mixed it all up until all of the meat was thoroughly saturated in it. These two sauces combined give you the perfect blend of smoky and tangy flavor.
I love pumpkin pie! It just screams Fall. Linking up to:
Barbeque and Baked Potatoes? What a fabulous idea! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a sweet message! People do chuckle when they see it and then remember, its ME... And of course I would teach flying lessons... Anyways, I can't wait to see more from your blog.
