Fall Blocks

About a month ago, I made some cute wooden blocks for Halloween.  It was my first attempt & they were ok but not exactly as I had planned.  Oh, well-practice makes perfect, right?  So this time, I made some that say "Fall".

This is such an easy, inexpensive, & fun project.   Glued my printed out images to the blocks, ink distressed the edges and then sanded all around.  I did go about it a little differently this time-I didn't prepaint the blocks-I thought the natural color of the wood would go better for fall.  I just love them!  I think I like the leaf background on the letter F the best.

My next set will be for Christmas-I can't wait to get started!  I think I will have to make a set for every holiday & season!

Speaking of holidays, I have an announcement (drum roll please)....
In celebration of my upcoming (Tuesday) one month blogiversary I will be hosting my first ever link party!!

<a href="http://s1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb370/kroady76/?action=view&current=HolidayHookupbutton.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb370/kroady76/HolidayHookupbutton.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Be sure to come back Tuesday and link up all of your favorite holiday recipes, crafts, decorating, & gift ideas!!  All holidays are included-Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, whatever you plan to celebrate!  I'm hoping we can all get lots of ideas & inspiration to help us through the holidays (one of the most stressful times of the year).  Be sure to grab a button & help spread the word!
