Remember this ruffled T-shirt I found while thrifting the other day?
Well, I bought it with the plans to make it into a pillow. I also bought an old throw pillow to cover with it but somehow it didn’t end up in my bag. UGH! I went back and, of course, it was no longer there. Nor a suitable replacement. So, I was stuck not making it for a few days but yesterday, I stopped in another thrift store and didn’t find much but I did find another throw pillow. So, I was back in pillow making business! Today, I cut the shirt off under the arms and sewed up the ends. It was so easy and I don’t even sew! It was a stretchy cotton knit material so it is so, so soft.
Now, I have a ruffly, romantic, dusty pink pillow on my bed. I think I like the softness so much, I may get some jersey knit sheets for the bed to go with it.
Love.
